Hornet Acquires General Managers For France, New York and Taipei!
Gay dating app Hornet has today announced the acquisition of its new general managers, who will help to expand the platform in France, New York and Taipei.
Hornet has hired Fabrice Le Parc to head up the company’s business development and customer acquisition strategies in France, Tim Greene who is taking on the role in New York and Darien Chan in Taipei.
Hornet President Sean Howell said: “We’re excited to have Fabrice, Tim and Darien joining the team to help make Hornet the global leader in gay social networking.
“With our rapid expansion and the additions of Vespa and Unicorn Booty, Hornet is redefining what a gay social networking app looks like.

Hornet’s new general manager for France, Le Parc, previously founded dating platform Smartdate, after serving as managing director of international dating platform be2.
And Greene and Chan have combined experience in financial, marketing and technology services.
Le Parc said: “I am thrilled to join Hornet, the number one gay dating app in France, and its team of international talents.
“The French team will strive to rapidly grow the usage of the app and engage our community into a new age of social networking.
“Our goal is to make Hornet the go-to destination for all gays in France and create the first inclusive network in our country for the community.”
Recently, Hornet announced a very impressive round of Series A funding, securing $8m, which was led by venture capital fund Ventech China.
And earlier this week, Hornet announced a new partnership with Blued, which will see Blued participating in an extension of Hornet’s earlier funding round.
