What is an NSFW space?

NSFW stands for “Not Safe for Work.” As the name suggests, an NSFW space may include content that is inappropriate or explicit for viewing in public or in a professional setting. This might include content that is sexually explicit, graphic, or otherwise potentially offensive or disturbing.

In an NSFW Space, you can post and view content that is not safe for work. Therefore, an NSFW Space can only be set to Private, which means:

  • As a Host: you have to review and approve users who would like to join the space, and
  • As a member: you have to request to join the Space and motivate why you should be in that Space

When considering the use of an NSFW Space, it is important to be aware of the potential risks and liabilities involved. Depending on the content that is being discussed and shared in the Space, it may be illegal or unethical in certain jurisdictions. One should be aware of local laws and regulations regarding the distribution of explicit or inappropriate content and should exercise caution when viewing or sharing such material.

SPACES Team members closely monitor the content that is posted and shared inside the app to ensure that it remains in line with our Content and Community Guidelines. We also reserve the right to enforce our guidelines, including setting public Spaces private, removing the Space, and/or suspending one’s account.

We encourage you to be mindful of everyone’s personal boundaries and the potential consequences of participating in an NSFW space.
