CHRISTOF WITTIG, CHIEF HORNET
Christof co-founded Hornet in 2011 when he felt the queer community needed a better app. He is the CEO of Queer Networks, Inc.
Christof is a serial software entrepreneur and investor, a not-so-great triathlete and happily married to his husband, Juan, for over 20 years. Born in Germany, he now lives in San Francisco and often travels around the world.
ALEX SIORMPAS, DATA
Alex leads the shaping and execution of Hornet’s Analytics & AI strategies, identifying and implementing high-impact use cases in a data-rich environment. With over a decade of experience in this field, plus an MBA and a technical background in Engineering, he’s great at connecting Technology and Business.
Before joining Hornet, Alex held leadership roles across the Marketplaces, E-commerce and Tech industries. Now based in Greece, he enjoys cycling, travelling, and family time when he’s off-screen.
DELFINA YOUNG, PRODUCT
Delfina is Head of Product at Hornet, where she leads global strategy across guy growth, monetisation, and design. With 10+ years scaling mobile apps, she brings strong operational and product management skills, aligns cross-functional teams and delivers with purpose.
Born in Argentina, she’s currently based in Buenos Aires.
DAMIEN BRENIER, FINANCE
Damien is Hornet’s Financial Controller, overseeing accounting, legal and all aspects of Hornet’s corporate presence.
Damien worked in a similar role at Teamworld, Seagate, LaCie and Sanofi. Born in France, he now lives in Nice, France.
MATT HIRST, TECHNOLOGY
Matt oversees Hornet’s strong engineering team, from delivering cutting-edge frontend design to keeping servers running smoothly for billions of messages, all while keeping guy safe from malicious attacks.
Matt came to Hornet from Device Magic and Platform45. He and most of Hornet’s engineering team are based in Cape Town, South Africa.
VICTOR SEVILLA, MARKETING
Victor is the VP of Marketing at Hornet, driving the brand’s vision and growth. With a background at top companies like Procter & Gamble, Uber, and Tinder (as Regional Marketing Director), he brings deep marketing expertise to the role. Victor also knows the category first-hand, having met past partners on Tinder and Badoo.
Born in Spain and based in Berlin, he’s also a 2x Ironman triathlete who brings the same passion for winning to everything he does.
