5 Gay Pride Events You Can’t Miss This August

New York City, Tel Aviv, London and San Francisco all celebrated Pride festivals in June, but the party is far from over! In fact, several cities around the world are getting ready to show their LGBT Pride in August, so here are our five pride event picks for this month:

Brighton: August 5 – 7


Brighton Pride has a star-studded lineup from Carly Rae Jepsen to Pam Ann. This pride festival always brings out thousands of participants to Brighton, England, for a long weekend fun.

Montreal:  August 14


Montreal Pride is ready to put on a show and celebrate gay pride in this quaint Quebec city.  It will be great if Justin Trudeau, Canadian PM, will march again with the LGBTQ community, after his pride appearance in Toronto and Vancouver.

Glasgow:  August 20 – 21 


Glasgow Pride is Scotland’s biggest LGBTI event.  This pride organization is also a charity aimed to engage, develop and support LGBTI community.

Manchester:  August 26

The Big Weekend is Manchester Pride’s flagship event taking place in Manchester’s world-famous Gay Village.  Thousands of people will participate in a week long festivities over the August Bank Holiday Weekend.
