Was Anderson Cooper hacked this morning when his Twitter account tweeted out a very anti-Trump tweet referring to Roy Moore? That’s what he’s claiming after a Wednesday morning tweet mocking the U.S. President for endorsing failed Alabama Republican Senate candidate (and accused child molester) Roy Moore.
We were rooting for you Anderson. We were all rooting for you!
“Just woke up to find out someone gained access to my twitter account,” he tweeted at 8:02 am Wednesday morning. “I have not sent a tweet in days or replied to any tweets. We are looking into how this happened.”
Thankfully, someone got a screenshot of the questionable tweet, which was a response from Cooper’s account to President Donald Trump’s tweet this morning that he knew Roy Moore was going to lose.
Trump tweeted: “The reason I originally endorsed Luther Strange (and his numbers went up mightily), is that I said Roy Moore will not be able to win the General Election. I was right! Roy worked hard but the deck was stacked against him!”
Cooper’s account responded: “Oh Really? You endorsed him you tool. Pathetic loser.”
Was Anderson Cooper hacked on Twitter?
While we stand by everything this tweet is saying, we were surprised to see this come from Cooper. And while we love the tone of the tweet, it doesn’t sound like something Cooper would say.
Now Andy Cohen on the other hand … makes perfect sense.
While we may be disappointed that the offensively crass tweet didn’t come from the buttoned up and painfully proper Cooper, he did reveal that he wakes up at 8:00 a.m. on a Wednesday. So maybe there is hope after all that he is actually a human being and not some silver fox robot created by CNN and the Vanderbilt clan.
So at least we have that.
