This Week’s Must-Haves: Tesla’s Model 3, a Bieber White Tee & the Return of SNES Classic
Justin Bieber, Nintendo, Tesla and Stranger Things — what do they have in common? Well, next to nothing except that they’ve all found their way onto our roundup of must-have items this week. Looking to drop some coin in the near future? Let us help you out with that.
In addition to anything — anything — from the latest Gucci collection (we seriously can’t take its awesomeness), drop some dough on these items, priced from a meager $30 to a cool $35,000.
1. The Super Nintendo Classic Edition
For gamers, the latest must-have console isn’t a new Xbox or PlayStation. The most coveted tech toy for fall is none other than the old-school Super Nintendo Classic Edition. It’s a smaller version of the original console that works well with modern TVs, plus it comes loaded up with 21 games (one being the never-before-released Star Fox 2). Retailing for only $80, the console is scheduled to launch in September with huge anticipation.
Also worth noting, Nintendo confirmed this week that Super NES Classic Edition will be available for pre-order from various retailers later this month. If you want to get your hands on one of these, check out Amazon, Walmart, Best Buy or GameStop for updates.
2. The 2017 Tesla Model 3
What world are we living in where a Tesla coupe has a cheaper base price than the Chevy Bolt? Surprise: It’s this world!
The auto world just saw the release of the Tesla Model 3, the MSRP of which is only $35K, making it the most affordable electric sports car. The company says the car can go from zero to 60 in 5.6 seconds, but we’re gonna need to find out firsthand. More info at tesla.com.
3. Stranger Things Vol 1 & 2 Deluxe Vinyl Set
Looking for the best thing to hold you over until Season 2 of Stranger Things drops on Netflix on Oct. 27? The duo from the band Survive — Kyle Dixon and Michael Stein — famously created a retro ’80s score that, much like the series itself, is both nostalgic and groovy.
Volume 1 of the deluxe vinyl set consists of 36 tracks, including the theme song, “Kids” and “Eleven,” plus brand-new artwork, character cards and more. Volume 2 has 39 tracks, also complete with artwork and character cards. There’s a special place in our hearts for colored vinyl, and the “splatter vinyl” of these two volumes give us life!
Purchase them for $50 each over at turntablelab.com .
4. Nogs Modular
This optical e-commerce company based in Lille (in the North of France) has launched a brand-new way for customers to get the one-of-a-kind sunglasses we’re all searching for. We’re so in love with these that we recently included them in this roundup of 2017’s best sunglass options.
With its modular frames, each element is changeable, from the temples to the bridge. Choose two, three or four different styles of lenses and frames to create shades in various combinations. They’re made of Nylon TR90, which is lightweight and flexible, they’re scratch-resistant and they protect against UVA and UVB rays thanks to blue blocker technology.

6. The Bieber White Tee of All White Tees
Frank Ocean wasn’t the only celebrity who had us rushing to the interwebs for a brand-new shirt this week.
Justin Bieber may have ended his world tour early, but at least you can purchase this tee, originally designed for the Believe Tour’s wardrobe. Karla Welsh, Bieber’s stylist, collaborated with Hanes and the Biebs himself to launch a capsule collection this week consisting of seven (yep, seven, no joke) perfect white T-shirts.
It seems Justin Bieber had been on an a quest to find the perfect white tee, and it took Welsh cutting and sewing two Hanes tees together to make that happen. Slightly longer than most tees and with a roomier fit, here’s what came of that quest.
At $30, they’re a little pricier than most plain tees, but they won’t break the bank. Get yours at xkarla.com.
And if you’re looking for a cool new way to purchase T-shirts, Uniqlo has you covered (no pun intended) with its brand-new vending machines that allow you to purchase a down jacket or Heattech top without stepping foot in a store.
