Activists wished homophobic Vice President Mike Pence to his new official vice presidential home with a big queer Valentine’s Day dance party on Wednesday.

The DC LGBTQ Welcoming Committee organized the event. The group is a mix of activists from #ResistJ20, #WERKforPeace and Powerful Resistance.

Pink News writes:

One of the organisers, Sarah Massey, told NBC Out: “What we’re doing is about demonstrating love in the face of fear.”

“This administration is on a path of destruction,” Massey continued.

On the playlist for the dance party were songs by Beyonce, Nicki Minaj and Madonna.

Sharing a photo on Facebook, Massey wrote: “This is what America looks like: Black, white, Asian, Muslim, immigrant, gay, bi, straight, Trans, queers, Burners, twins, moms, daughters, musicians, dancers. Creativity is the opposite of destruction. Love is the antidote to fear. Love yourself. Love each other. #resist We’re not going back in the closet, quite the contrary.”

DisruptJ20 posted a video of the party on Facebook and it is magical.

This is the third time activists have protested Pence through the medium of ultra-gay dance.

The LGBTQ resistance to the Trump agenda shows no signs of letting up soon. We hope Pence is haunted by the sounds of throbbing dance music and gay revelry for the rest of his evil life.
