The Tom of Finland Store Is Now Selling Briefs by Boy Smells, and Terry Miller Wears It So Well
The Tom of Finland Store just shared with us its latest photo shoot featuring the very hunky Terry Miller (husband of Dan Savage). Photographed by Slava Mogutin, the shoot was set at the Maritime Hotel in New York’s Chelsea neighborhood and focuses on new additions to the store. This includes brands Bernhard Willhelm, CDLP, Boy Smells Unmentionables and Beverly Hills Cowboy.
Photographer Slava Mogutin is a New York-based Russian-American multimedia artist, filmmaker and writer exiled from Russia for his outspoken writings and activism.
A statement reads, “Mogutin’s work is informed by his bicultural literary and dissident background, encompassing the themes of displacement and identity; transgression and transfiguration of masculinity and gender crossover; urban youth subcultures and adolescent sexuality; the clash of social norms and individual desires; the tension between attachment and disaffection, hate and love.”
We’re loving Miller in these looks. His muscles and package are perfectly on display in these various types of undergarments. While he looks great in all of them, our favorite are the briefs from Boy Smells Unmentionables.
Boy Smells is the creation of David Kien and Matthew Herman, who established the brand in 2014 in the Pico–Union District of Los Angeles, California. Begun as a scent experiment and later developed into a product, the guys pooled their experiences in design and production worlds of fashion and applied them to a home fragrance collection.
Boy Smells is not just known for the brand’s simple and sleek underwear for both men and women (that actually come unscented, in case you were curious), but also for candles. They’re a blend of coconut oil and beeswax, each scent developed to have its own unique expression.
