In a new interview with Deadline, Bryan Singer’s ex-lover describes sex-filled orgies where the famous director gave out MDMA to attendees. Brett Tyler Skopek is now 22, but the aspiring actor was 18 when his relationship with Singer began. He describes in detail how there would be as many as 10 aspiring young actors in attendance, all lured with promises of roles and more.
“We’re in the basement, me and the other two kids, we’re kind of chilling. Bryan takes us up, one by one, and gives us all a Molly,” Skopek explains, detailing the first Singer party he ever went to. “He’s splitting it with us. ‘I’ll do half if you do half.’ In the meantime, [the computer specialist] has another [young man] come over. He’s very dirty. He’s off the streets.”
Deadline reports: “Skopek says he and two others wound up in the bedroom, having sex with Singer. A 23-year-old who requested anonymity because he is still pursuing an acting career corroborated Skopek’s account of the evening of dinner, drug use and group sex — and the computer technician’s role in introducing him and Skopek to Singer.”
Skopek explains in the interview that Singer would use his position of power to lure men to his house “as if casting the lead for his next big-budget film production.”
“It was like, ‘Let’s get on a roll. I want this guy in my room,'” Skopek said. “It’s shocking to me how easy it was.”
Skopek explains that Singer would pawn him off onto others, too. “I was looking over my shoulder while [Singer] was texting another person, ‘Hey, I have little Bret here. I want you to come over and do him,'” Skopek recalled.
In 2016, Bryan Singer’s ex-lover Skopek had a violent encounter with another Hollywood power player who has been accused of sexual misconduct in recent months. Hollywood agent Tyler Grasham was accused by child actor Blaise Godbe of assault dating from the summer he turned 18, but “cannot recall if the date of the assault was before or after his birthday.”
Similar to Lipman, Skopek also describes a situation where Grasham assaulted him.
“In the morning [Grasham] asks why there’s blood on the sheets. He said, ‘I guess I fingered you too hard. I’m sorry, I was drunk.’ I was bleeding for a week,” Skopek recalls, adding, “It makes me realize these people don’t know what they’re doing sometimes. They are out to enjoy themselves. If they hurt someone in the process, they don’t even remember.”
Bryan Singer’s ex-lover Brett Tyler Skopek explains the director promised him a small part in an X-Men movie, but the audition for that role never happened.
Singer’s people discredited Skopek’s claims, telling Deadline, “[Skopek] is someone who has repeatedly asked Bryan for money over the years, and did so as recently as last month.”
Singer recently made headlines when Fox fired him from an upcoming Freddie Mercury biopic starring Rami Malek. The studio cited on-set clashes with Malek and also the fact that Singer went missing from set following the Thanksgiving break. Singer has since released a personal statement saying he had needed time off to deal with a parent’s health issues.
