Dragula season 2

It’s Alive! The ‘Dragula’ Season 2 Trailer Just Landed, and It’s Truly Electrifying

The Boulet Brothers, the L.A.-based nightlife promoters behind Dragula, the reality web series billed as “the search for the world’s next drag supermonster,” just unveiled the teaser trailer for Season 2, and it’s electrifying.

Dragula combines the gender-bending performances of RuPaul’s Drag Race, the intense gross-out challenges of Fear Factor and the high-spirited pranks of Jackass. In Season 1, queens in zombie drag raced to ingest a plate of brains and later mud-wrestled after being buried alive in bug-infested coffins.

Season 2 promises to be even messier and more menacing.

A sneak-peek at Dragula Season 2’s scary surprises

In our exclusive Season 2 preview with the Boulet Brothers, they revealed that Season 2 will have more competitors and episodes (going from six episodes with nine queens to more episodes and 10 queens), more guest stars (Season 1 included Jawbreaker director Darren Stein and San Francisco drag icons Peaches Christ and Heklina) and a shock-rock theme (compared to Season 1’s vampire queen vibe) with more “heavy metal and loud, explosive challenges and locations.”

Here’s the teaser trailer for Dragula Season 2:

Most importantly, Season 2 will feature even more extreme challenges.

“What diabolical designs do we have in store for those who underperform?” Dracmorda Boulet joked. “Last year was nothing compared to this year’s exterminations.”

“After a huge response from the fans, we knew we needed to deliver more,” Swanthula Boulet agreed.

A Halloween night premiere guaranteed to scare millions

Season 2 will appear on the Canadian streaming LGBT cable channel OUTtv. OUTtv will also air a remastered and reformatted version of Season 1 featuring previously unseen content. (You can watch the first season on YouTube here.)
