This Wrestler Went on an Adorable Double-Date With His Dad and Their Boyfriends (Photos)

Former pro wrestler Matt Cage shows no mercy…. to our heartstrings. Recently, he posted the most adorable photo on Twitter of he and his dad on a double-date with their boyfriends. Though Cage got pushback from homophobic “fans,” every right-thinking person responded with an “Aww.”
On Aug. 24, Matt Cage posted to Twitter that his dad and his dad’s boyfriend came to Chicago to for a visit. He posted two photos, one of him with his dad, and one of the four of them on their double-date. Both photos are cute enough to melt the coldest heart — or at least we think so.
Some of his “fans” had other thoughts, though. While the tweet got over 12,000 likes and 3,000 retweets, some of the replies were negative. People told them they were going to hell, said they were “nasty” and parroted the lie that animals aren’t homosexual, so it’s unnatural.

A number of the commenters seemed confused as to how a gay man could have a son. One commenter “helpfully” explained that it was obviously surrogacy. The debate over whether or not Cage was adopted even amused the wrestler.
He said, “I love that some people are so ignorant or stupid, that they can’t wrap their mind around the fact that a gay man (or woman) can still have a child. As if the reproductive system doesn’t exist. Legit laughing so hard at some of these responses to the pic of me, my bf, my dad & his bf. The number of people asking about my mom or if I was adopted is staggering. I love that these people don’t understand how procreation works, or that a gay man can still fuck a woman.”
Matt Cage officially came out of the closet in 2015. At that time, he wrote, “For the longest time, I claimed that I was bisexual…. However, I have no real intentions of pursuing females at this stage of my life. I still find beautiful women beautiful. I don’t think that’ll ever change. But I think that to continue to claim something that’s not true is just continuing a streak dishonesty and I don’t want that.”
