Even though Mar. 20, 2017 was the official first day of spring, a bunch of snow bunnies gathered late last month to celebrate European Gay Ski Week, a wintery annual event billed as “Europe’s number 1 gay winter sports and music festival.”

The weeklong event, which ran March 18-25, is chock-full of snowy slopes, ski classes for beginners and experts, mountainside lunches, divine drag queens, a nightly cabaret lounge and tons of parties including a “bear pit” party, an erotic fetish party, a wig party, a “Snow Ball” and a nightly after hours bash, all featuring great international DJs spinning hot tunes in the icy snow.

We caught up with gay YouTube-lebrity Davy Wavey; his hunky gogo pals, Addison and Dom; and the tea-spilling drag trio of Cheddar Gorgeous, Patty Pam-Pam and Lady Galore, to find out what sex and skiing in the French slopes is like during European Gay Ski Week.

Here’s what they had to say:

The week unfolds near the southeast corner of France at The 3 Valleys, the largest ski area in the world, and the Les Menuires resort, a 40-year-old ski paradise nestled in the French alps. Les Menuires has lots of gentle and wild slopes, two multi-screen movie theaters, two luxurious clubs, two spacious pools, numerous restaurants and bars as well as cabin-style apartments and comfy hotels for some “ski and chill.”

If you’ve never been to France or on the slopes, European Gay Ski Week is a great place to start. For a $148 to $300 pass, you get all-access to the events, discounts on meals, drinks, travel and equipment rentals as well as the opportunity to mingle with fun-loving travelers from around the world. Plus, the natural beauty, fresh air and breathtaking views all make visiting worthwhile too.
