George Michael’s Ex-Lover Is Now Claiming His Twitter Was Hacked in an Elaborate Setup
Earlier this week, we reported on some serious Fadi Fawaz drama. George Michael’s ex-lover had posted to his Twitter that he’s done being respectful and will sell any story about his time with the famed pop star. Fawaz, a photographer and hair stylist, wrote, “George Micheal [sic] Items for sale… It’s a way so I can survive till we solve the problems with his family and lawyer… I am done with being respectful towards George Michael.”
He continued, “Since I’m left with no help and since no one is human anymore. Am willing to sell any story as well. If you wanna interview me you know where to find me. I will fight for my right from George Michael till the last day of my life. And no I won’t get a job.”
Well now Fawaz is taking it all back, saying that his Twitter account was hacked (and is part of an elaborate scheme against him) in what resembles an E.E. Cummings poem.
In a lengthy post on his Instagram Story, he said,
“I am getting lots of msgs asking if it was really me. No it was not me of course. This week I had to stop my 2 tel numbers my facebook and being trying to shut down twitter. But I have no control of it. Lots of strange things happening. Can’t be explained. I’m getting looked at and investigated but in the mean time, can we please ignore my tweeter till I sort it. What s being said on twitter is madness none of it is true. It all goes back to the beginning. Someone out there looking to harm me so many things are happening to me daily that needs to stop somehow. It’s all too unfortunate and unkind. Sorry for the headache but I know I will be ok. Fadi”
He then went on to post that it is “all a set up and none of it is real.”
Fawaz began dating Michael in 2012 and lived with the singer up until his death in 2016. He has reportedly become a major impediment in the legal process surrounding Michael’s will, preventing the pop star’s fortune from being handed out to family members.
