Most people would like to believe that love is inspired by Cupid’s arrow, or some intangible magic fusion of two souls, but the most accurate description is when someone says they felt an immediate “chemistry.” As Alex Liu — the host of Science of Sin — explains in the videos below, love, and sex involve a bunch of chemical reactions, and we are all just beakers.

Also, it turns out that love and crystal meth activate similar parts of the brain. So when people say “love is a drug,” that’s pretty accurate too.
