    January 2, 2010: Houston becomes the largest city in America with an LGBT mayor when Annise Parker is sworn in today. Parker said she would focus on transportation, balancing the budget, and recruiting a new chief of police. You know, the Gay Agenda.

  • January 2, 2008: Pope Benedict wished the world a Happy New Year by criticizing countries legalizing gay unions, saying it will lead to the end of peace on earth. If that’s his “Happy New Year”, I’d hate to be on the receiving end of his “Happy Birthday”.
  • January 2, 2004: Mounty Media Blitzkrieg! After Pope John Paul II offered up a less than flattering opinion on gays and lesbians, The Toronto Globe and Mail newspaper decides not to print his words since they belittled fellow Canadian citizens. In it’s place, the news outlet runs a lengthy editorial on the necessity of acceptance – not simply tolerance – for LGBT Canadians. The Toronto Sun and Toronto Star go ahead and print the boring Pope story as is.
