Former Gay Sex Cult Member Opens Up About Life in Buddhafield (Video)

A former member of the Buddhafield group opened up about life inside the weird gay sex cult in an interview with Cults & Conspiracies.

Actor David Christopher says he got into the cult because he was “looking for something more” in his life. What he found was the Buddhafield, a weird religious group.

A girl he met got him into the group. But Christopher didn’t dive in head-first. His first impression of the cult’s leader, Andreas (a.k.a. Michel Rostand, a.k.a. Jamie Gomez, a.k.a. Reyji), was, “Here’s this gay little troll.”

But the cult’s utopian ideals and promise of self-improvement drew Christopher in anyway, and he spent years calling Andreas “master.”

Andreas taught that sexuality was base and low, but his body language and behavior was intensely sexually charged, Christopher says. He had disciples—all gorgeous young men—dress and bathe him, and asked handsome initiates to undress during private rituals. On Halloween, his followers would enact a sexually-charged skit for him they called “Lord of the Cock Ring.” He was easily able to convince heterosexual members to engage in gay sexual activities.

The Buddhafield was also subject of a 2016 documentary called Holy Hell. The group still has a few members.
