George Michael’s boyfriend Fadi Fawaz might be banned from the late pop star’s funeral.

Pink News writes:

The Wham! star’s cousin, Andros Georgiou, claims that Fadi Fawaz, his boyfriend, will not be allowed to attend because the Michael family “hate him”.

Georgiou blasted the late singer’s boyfriend, saying: “Fadi has not been invited to the funeral. He is not welcome, the family hate him. Heaven help him if he turned up.”

But maybe Fawaz will be there. On Twitter, he wrote a post stating that Georgiou’s claims were “rubbish,” and added that he was on good terms with his late boyfriend’s family:

The funeral itself could be delayed until March due to coroners’ investigations.
