The Glam Awards are New York City’s annual award ceremony that celebrate the best of NYC gay nightlife in categories like “Best DJ,” “Scene Queen,” “Best Dressed” and “Entertainer of the Year.”
Hosted by RuPaul’s Drag Race stars and nightlife legends Peppermint and Thorgy Thor, the night included special performances by The Voice star Chris Weaver (Nedra Belle), Stephanie’s Child (Jan Sport, Lagoona Bloo and Rose’), musical artist Jayse Vegas, drag singer Honey Davenport, drag queen Brita Filter, the performance groyp Shirley House, electro-house musician Boy Radio and drag stars Marti Cummings and Kevin Aviance with the cast of Trinkets.
Produced by Cherry Jubilee, Michael Musto walked away with the “Living Legend Award” presented to him by Linda Simpson. Musto chatted with Jubilee for Paper Mag before the big night.
She told him, “I think my favorite time in the evening is when I can step back and look at all the luminaries that showed up. Everyone is happy and supportive of each other — they’re not scratching each other’s eyes out.”
Photographer WilsonModels was there to capture the night for Hornet.
