‘Nurse Jackie’ Actor Haaz Sleiman Just Came Out as Gay, So Let’s Enjoy 9 Sexy Pics of Him
In a 2009 interview with Advocate.com, Lebanon-born actor Haaz Sleiman said that he was straight even though he played a gay Muslim character named Mohamad “Mo-Mo” De La Cruz in Showtime’s medical comedy-drama series Nurse Jackie. It’s unclear when he officially came out as gay, but he recently posted a Facebook video that not only declared his homosexuality but also he is a total bottom who will “fuck you up” if you’re a homophobe trying to murder him. Nice!
After mentioning a recent study showing that more LGBTQ Americans have been murdered in 2017 than in 2016, Sleiman says to the camera:
“As my response to this study, I am a gay, Muslim, Arab-American man.” He repeats, “I am a gay, Muslim, Arab-American man. And I’m going to take it even further: Not only am I gay, but I’m also a bottom. Not only am I a bottom, but I’m also a total bottom which means I like it up you know where.”
He continues: “And I say this to all the homophobes living in the United States of America and across the globe — why not? If you ever come to me, to kill me just because I’m gay, I will destroy you.”
“I might be gay and I might be a nice guy, but don’t get it twisted because I will fuck you up.”
Here’s Haaz Sleiman’s coming out video:
You may have already known Sleiman was gay depending on how closely you follow his Facebook page. On July 3, 2015, he changed his Facebook profile pic to feature a rainbow on it, but so did lots of straight people celebrating the U.S. legalization of marriage equality. Then, on Feb. 4, 2017, he posted an image of himself kissing an actor named Travis Kent.
He has since posted various images supportive of LGBTQ people, but this video marks the first time we know of in which he has publicly declared his gayness. So to celebrate, let’s enjoy this gallery below with sexy pictures of him.
