Janelle Monáe just said, “Bye,” to Kim Burrell again! But this time it was caught on camera.

Since a homophobic rant of Burrell’s surfaced last week, people have been curious if she will still be appearing on The Ellen DeGeneres Show during a scheduled performance with Pharrell.

Well, TMZ got exclusive footage of Monáe leaving LAX airport earlier today. When the musician and actress was asked about Burrell’s performance on the show, she replied, “I don’t think she is performing. She’s not. She is not performing.”

“I am a huge advocate for the other and I don’t stand for any hate speech or anything that targets our fellow brothers and sisters,” she continued.

Ellen or her people have yet to make an official statement, but we hope Monáe is right.
