Lady Gaga Will Replace Pregnant Beyoncé at This Year’s Coachella

Fans rejoiced when they learned that Beyoncé was headlining Coachella, and then lamented when it turned out that she was too pregnant to perform. Now the rejoicing continues with the news that Lady Gaga will replace Queen Bey as Coachella’s headlining performer — nice!

Of course, Beyoncé and Gaga have collaborated together before, namely on the videos for Beyoncé’s “Video Phone” and Lady Gaga’s “Telephone.” Beyoncé’s video for “Haunted” also featured a well-known Lady Gaga impersonator, which is kind of like collaborating with Gaga but somehow weirder and far less expensive.

Soon after Coachella, Gaga will begin her Joanne world tour and Beyoncé will begin a whole new round of motherhood.
