A British gay man called into Maajid Nawaz’s LBC digital radio show to talk about being disowned by his religious family for his sexuality.

The man, identified only as Jonathan in Worthing, said he’d been brought up as a Jehovah’s Witness. But when he came out five years ago, his parents stopped talking to him.

Jonathan says he’s an atheist now.
