‘Twinks for Trump’ Founder Says Fox News Reporter Physically Assaulted Him

The founder of Twinks for Trump Lucian Wintrich says he was physically assaulted by Fox News reporter Jon Decker at the White House last week.

Lucian Wintrich wrote:

I arrived at the White House Press Briefing Room on Friday and was simply standing in line for the bathroom. I was accosted by Fox’s Jon Decker, who loudly informed the entire room that I hate blacks, women, Hispanics, Jews, and other minorities. I was astounded.

Decker then blocked me from entering the rest room. He physically cornered me.

I took a few steps back, at which point he began asking, “Who is Pepe?” I told him that it was simply an internet meme, but that I really needed to use the restroom. When I attempted to inch past him, he physically shoved me. When I exited the men’s room, he was waiting outside, and stalked me into the briefing room.

At this point, things turned ugly. Mr. Decker grabbed my arm in a very aggressive manner, and loudly informed the roomful of MSM journalists that I was “anti-black, anti-Jew, anti-woman” and writing for a Nazi publication

Decker responded with this statement:

Earlier today I had a conversation with a representative from the online publication Gateway Pundit. The conversation was straightforward and direct. I also informed the full White House pool that this representative was present in the Briefing Room. At no time did I accost or assault this individual. More than a dozen witnesses will attest to this fact.

Only one witness has sort of confirmed that Lucian Wintrich may be right.

On his blog, journalist Andrew Feinberg writes:

I will confirm that I did witness Jon touch or grab Lucian’s arm. However I will not attempt to speak to how hard the physical contact between the two of them was, because it was not my arm that was touched. I will also confirm that Jon’s voice was raised, he was quite agitated, and that he approached Lucian, not the other way around. And contrary to what Jon said in a statement later that day, I would not characterize the exchange between the two of them as a “straightforward conversation” as much as it was one person shouting at another person without provocation.

What I will not say is whether I believe that any of what happened between Jon and Lucian rises to assault or battery, as a civil tort or a crime, because I am not a lawyer.

Wintrich is still upset about the whole thing, as he just tweeted this Monday afternoon:

It is pretty petty that Wintrich is comparing his arm being pulled to the massive amounts of vandalism that have been occurring at LGBT centers across the country. This is all happening only after the man he helped get elected became president.

We don’t condone violence of any kind, but picking sides here is like choosing between two bullies in a school yard fight.

Sounds to us like they both need a time out.
