MaleCrimp is here, but we can’t decide whether we’re fans. The “trend” of men crimping their hair has all of a sudden popped up, and we’re totally confused by it.

Hair stylist Kyle Kreiger gets actor (and his ex) Nico Tortorella—who was included in our list of “100 Intriguing LGBTs to Look Out for in 2017”—in the hot seat for one extremely steamy session.

Tortorella gets his hair crimped, and the finish product is, well … very ’80s.
