Thomas Sleigh, 45, faces jail time for assault after he grabbed a male flight attendant’s crotch and asked, “Are you gay?”

The incident happened last September on a Ryanair flight from Murcia to Manchester, Pink News reports.

Prosecutor Nicole Durham says that Sleigh, traveling with his daughter, had drunk a few beers before the flight.

When the flight attendant approached, Sleigh grabbed the man’s crotch and “flicked” his genitals. Then, reportedly, he asked “Are you gay?” and stuck his middle finger up. Classy!

Durham said, “This person has been targeted because of his perceived sexuality.”

Sleigh’s daughter says her father was just joking. Sleigh claimed that the touch was an accident.

Sleigh will be convicted later his month. He faces up to 10 years in jail, and could be registered as a sex offender.
