The McDonald’s corporate Twitter account posted a tweet blasting Donald Trump, his presidency and his tiny hands this morning.
The tweet was quickly deleted, but before it disappeared several users took screenshots of it because that’s definitely the kind of thing you save for posterity:
It is unclear as of yet who posted the tweet. The sentiments expressed are probably not the official stance of the McDonald’s corporation. More likely, the tweet was the work of a rogue employee.
But if not, we welcome the company’s fierce new marketing strategy.
Update: McDonald’s has released a statement about the anti-Trump tweet:
Twitter notified us that our account was compromised. We deleted the tweet, secured our account and are now investigating this.
