Olympic Bronze Medalist Gymnast, Nile Wilson put diver Tom Daley through “his paces” at the gym. And then later, Daley taught him a thing or two at the pool.
Nile Wilson is an English artistic gymnast. He is the 2016 Olympic horizontal bar bronze medalist.
In 2014, Wilson became the first British gymnast ever to win five gold medals at the European Junior Gymnastics Championships. Making his senior debut for England, he proceeded in the same year to win four medals, including two gold, at the 2014 Commonwealth Games. He is the reigning Commonwealth Games champion on horizontal bar.
Tom Daley is an out British diver. Daley specializes in the 10-meter platform event and is a double World champion in the event. He won the 2009 FINA World Championship in the individual event at the age of 15, before regaining it in 2017. In 2012, he was the Olympic bronze medalist in the event.
Earlier this year, Daley married Oscar-award winning screenwriter Dustin Lance Black. The two got married at Bovey Castle in Devon, England — about 30 miles outside of Daley’s hometown of Plymouth inside the same county, according to the BBC.
On December 2, 2013, Daley posted a YouTube video revealing that he was dating a man. “In spring this year, my life changed massively when I met someone and they made me feel so happy, so safe and everything just feels great,” he says in the video. “And that someone is a guy. It did take me by surprise a little bit. It was always in the back of my head that something like that could happen, but it wasn’t until spring this year that something just clicked. It felt right and I thought ‘OK,’ and my whole world changed there and then.”
The pair got married on May 6.
