So it’s been the first full week since this year’s Gathering of the Juggalos, and if you’re wondering what to do with your life… we got nothin’. But, hey, may as well catch up on some music news as you go hurtling through the void that is existence, right?

Super cool news: Janelle Monáe is going on tour again — this time for FREE! (Fill out this form for a chance to attend.) She’s bringing along her Wondaland collaborators, including Jidenna, Deep Cotton and Roman GianArthur to promote the upcoming EEPHUS EP that’s doubling as a label sampler for Monáe’s new label. If you haven’t yet grooved to the songs that are out like “Yoga”, check out this new video for Classic Man by Jidenna and Kendrick Lamar:

Speaking of Kendrick Lamar — something we should all do more often — at a #BlackLivesMatter conference this Sunday in Cleveland sang Lamar’s song “Alright” when cops used pepper spray on the crowd. The center of the altercation was cops attempting to arrest a 14-year-old boy for allegedly being intoxicated.

Morrissey made a blog post on Wednesday, claiming he was sexually harassed and groped by the TSA before flying to London. Morrissey said that he complained to British Airways that the TSA officer had knelt before him and groped the singer’s penis and testicles. In Rolling Stone, the TSA responded saying they had reviewed the videotapes and found no evidence of wrongdoing. That said, I’ve flown a decent amount, and I’ve made it through TSA checkpoints with my genitals unmolested.

The supremely underrated Yoko Ono just announced a new album for early next year. The album is Yes, I’m A Witch Too, the follow-up to 2007’s collaboration record Yes, I’m A Witch. The new record is likewise a collaboration, featuring guests including tUnE-yArDs, Cibo Matto, Sparks, Death Cab For Cutie and Danny Tenaglia among others. Ono’s last non-collaborative album was the sublime Take Me To The Land Of Hell in 2013.

New Music This Week: Neo-Soul chanteuse Joss Stone is releasing her seventh studio album, Water For Your Soul; she’s also putting out a dub EP, Dub For Your Soul, with some versions of the album.

Lynyrd Skynyrd is putting out One More For The Fans, a 3-CD set of live performances, featuring many different collaborators, including Cheap Trick, Alabama, Gov’t Mule and Randy Houser.

Finally, two new EPs: First a remix EP of “Ready To Lose” and “Stay Out Here” from the Knife’s last full-length Shaking the Habitual. The other EP is a new one from Ryan Adams, Willow Lane.
