As America becomes more accepting of queerness, celebrities like Miley Cyrus and Lily-Rose Depp have come out as sexually fluid. Now there’s a new celebrity who has followed suit — Nico Tortorella of TV Land’s hit sitcom Younger. Last week at a New York Pride event, Tortorella told Page Six:

“I’ve never been in any sort of closet . . . I was never really in the house. I think it’s one thing to hide . . . and it’s one thing to come out of the closet in a public statement . . . But I’ve always done me and never been shy . . . and have been vocal about it.”

And that’s true — in an interview last month with Dot429, he alluded to his fluid sexuality, even if he didn’t quite say the exact words:

“I think that we live in a time period where defining who you are and what you do is so important, and if you want to do one thing one day and another the next, go for it… I have tattooed on my chest “Not This, Not That,” with the symbols for male and female on opposite sides. I think the spectrum is a very large, beautiful place, and there needs to be a stronger voice for people who play back and forth on it…. I don’t think that I’m shy about anything that I do. Have I fallen in love across the board? Yeah, absolutely, but it’s more about love for me than it is about sex.”

Nico’s also very active on Instagram, so in celebration, we thought we’d include some of our favorite pics from his feed.
