We’re excited about the upcoming release of The Avengers: Age of Ultron — heck, the film just scored $201.2 million during its opening weekend in 44 other non-U.S. territories. But you know what would make Black Widow, Blackhawk, Iron Man, The Incredible Hulk, Nick Fury, and their whole kooky crew even better? If they were covered in pink glitter, costumes, and Hello Kitty head bows — meow!
It’d be an especially great way to market the film in Japan where Hello Kitty products (like high-end watches, electric guitars, and Louis Vuitton bags) earn over $7 billion a year. Granted, it’s a non-traditional look for the superhero team, but what a cross-promotional opportunity.
