Last month, RuPaul’s Drag Race All Star Phi Phi O’Hara announced a Puerto Rico benefit to raise much-needed funds after Hurricane Maria wreaked havoc on the small island.
The drag show, titled “Queens United/Reinas Unidas,” will take place tonight, Nov. 6, at First Avenue in Minneapolis (Prince’s legendary club from the movie Purple Rain) and will feature a star-studded cast of Drag Race royalty. There are still tickets available if you’re in the area. If not, you can donate here, and watch via a very special live-stream that Billboard will be hosting.
“It’s amazing to see how many people from all different walks of life are coming to together to make this happen and give back,” O’Hara said during an appearance today with her co-producer Chad Kampe on KARE 11.
She continues: “I was really shocked and kind of overwhelmed at the response that I got from so many people that wanted to do this, and they were ready to drop everything that they had already booked to come and do this event. I am really grateful for everybody involved.”
All proceeds from the show — tickets, meet-and-greet profits and merch sales — will go to Somos Una Voz, a relief initiative started by Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony. The foundation is rushing food, shelter, medicine, power and means of communication to Puerto Ricans in need after the island’s devastating natural disasters.
The full lineup includes Acid Betty, Alexis Michelle, Bebe Zahara Benet, Bob the Drag Queen, Chad Michaels, Cynthia Lee Fontaine, Ginger Minj, Jade Jolie, Jade Sotomayor, Jaidynn Diore Fierce, Jessica Wild, Jiggly Caliente, Kandy Ho, Katya, Kimora Blac, Madame LaQueer, Manila Luzon, Mariah Paris Balenciaga, Max, Milk, Mrs. Kasha Davis, Katya, Mystique Summers, Naysha Lopez, Ongina, Pandora Boxx, Phi Phi O’Hara, Phoenix, Trinity k. Bonet and Yara Sofia.
