She took to social media (like the rest of us) to speak out about this. The following is a play by play. We had help breaking this down from the good people at Paper.
Rihanna initially tweeted:
Disgusted! The news is devastating! America is being ruined right before our eyes! What an immoral pig you have to be to implement such BS!!
— Rihanna (@rihanna) January 29, 2017
Azealia Banks, a former rapper, responded:
Banks then continued to rag on Rihanna, citing that because she wasn’t a citizen she should’t speak out about this.
Banks posted on Instagram:
Rihanna clapped back with an Instagram post herself:
Papermag explains the caption, “This is a reference to Azealia Banks’ revelation that she has been ritually sacrificing chickens for brujeria purposes in her closet for the last three years.”
This upset Banks and she commented that Rihanna slept her way to the top and opened her legs for drugs.
The fighting goes on and on for what feels like eternity.
We are proud that Rihanna is using her platform to speak-out about the unconstitutional, un-American and immoral beginnings of Donald Trump’s presidency.
Rihanna’s next post in the battle is our favorite, and we will end this coverage on Banks v. Rihanna with this.
