It’s almost Halloween, and that means it’s time to get scary! But, unfortunately, it seems Melanie “Sporty Spice” C didn’t get the memo. The video for her newest single “Room For Love” features a number of celebrity cameos mixed in with fans lipsyncing to the song. Aside from KT Tunstall and Natalie Imbruglia, Emma “Baby Spice” Bunton, Victoria “Posh Spice” Beckham and Geri “Ginger Spice” Halliwell all make appearances. But, sadly, Mel B, the other Melanie, doesn’t appear.

Mel C’s told Sky it was a “shame” Scary couldn’t appear, but she’s not upset:

I don’t want it to look negative because it’s not, it’s not a big deal, I reached out to lots of other people and everyone’s busy.

She didn’t get round to doing it and obviously it does concern me… I think people will pick up on that but I don’t want anything to be made of it.

We’re trying not to make anything of it, but seriously — it’s not like anyone had to book studio time. Watching the video, most people just used their phones to shoot their video segments. Surely she could have taken some time away from America’s Got Talent? Hell, she works with cameras all day!

To be fair to Scary Spice, Mel B has had a rough year. She lost her father and her marriage fell apart. She posted on Instagram that she’d been abused by her ex-husband:
