Watch RuPaul Play the Emmy Award Statue and Spill the Tea With Stephen Colbert

The 2017 Emmy awards were jam-packed with all of our favorite stars. And for the third year in a row, the award show had its most diverse set of nominees. Host Stephen Colbert, who is notoriously the most political anti-Trump late-night star, brought that same quick wit and cynicism to the stage.

While there was a multitude of highlights from the ceremony, the most important part of the night was easily America’s favorite drag queen RuPaul, who had been nominated for eight awards. Donning a black and white patterned suit, RuPaul crushed the red carpet look with his entire Drag Race entourage.

While RuPaul picked up an Emmy for ‘Best Host of a Reality or Reality-Competition program,’ RuPaul’s Drag Race, unfortunately, did not take home the win for ‘Best Reality Show.’ NBC’s The Voice won instead and gay Twitter was not happy.

But the Emmy gods tried their best to make up for this blunder by getting RuPaul to dress as the Emmy statue and gossip with Stephen Colbert. Their conversation ranged from dating other award statues like ‘Oscar’ and ‘Tony,’ to why you should never talking about how heavy she weighs when you’re holding her.

And the entire world lost it, bowing down to RuPaul’s perfection.
