This is horrible. SCOTUS has scrapped the important transgender human rights case they were supposed to hear later this month and Donald Trump is partially to blame.

Gavin Grimm’s transgender rights case will no longer be going before the Supreme Court. Gloucester County School Board v. G.G. has been scrapped and the case remanded to the Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals for further consideration after the Trump administration changed an important federal policy.

Grimm is a 17-year-old high school senior and transgender male. Grimm’s long battle to the highest court in the country started at age 15 when he was forced to go through a series of school board meetings. The Supreme Court had accepted his case in what would have been a landmark decision for transgender rights, but it looks like that is not happening anymore.
