Trans People Are Taking To Social Media To Show Their #transTRUTH

Social Media Alert! A new selfie campaign, #transTRUTH, launched by the Transgender Law Center and the GSA Network hopes to show the diversity of trans-youth experience. Not every trans person is Laverne Cox or Caitlyn Jenner — they all have different looks and experiences, each worth highlighting.

Being trans isn’t as simple as switching pronouns — many of the #transTRUTH teens abandon male and female pronoun altogether. This campaign highlights trans diversity and shows that there’s no right or wrong way to be trans. It also reminds us a little of the other brilliant transgender photo campaign we saw earlier this year.
