Che-wei, Hsieh This is my ever first experience as an LGBT model, taken by an artsy but subtle photographer in Taichung, Taiwan. It's the end of February, as the cold breeze scrape against my skin, lenses after lenses, I was driven mad by the exhilarating feel of capturing the essence of what it takes to be a sexual icon. I'm Che-Wei Hsieh, an openly gay Christian, living in a quaint little country, but shouts freedom and love, Taiwan.

Alex Garner The story of our community is one of resilience and resistance. We have endured because people continue to risk it all just to openly express who they are. I am queer, Chicano, and HIV-positive and I tell my story in hopes it can make an impact on our larger community. We have tremendous power when we stand up and speak out.

Mike Showing my #truecolors at Pride in London!Pride for me is a chance to celebrate the hard won freedoms that our community has fought for and be a visible ally for those of us who are still subject to discrimination, here in the UK and abroad! ??

Matthew Smith My husband and I married within weeks of President Obama instructing the Justice Department to recognize gay marriages for federal benefits like immigration--had the ruling come later or not at all, he would likely have been deported. We're thankful every day that our TRUE COLORS have been recognized in this way...but by no means do we take it for granted. Keep up the fight, everyone...every day!

Christophe Martet Solomon and I met in 2000 during the Aids conference in Durban. We fight together against the epidemic and for the rights of LGBT refugees. .We married in 2013, as soon as same sex couples could do so in France. We are part of a greater movement on all continents to make LGBTQI+ people proud and free! #DecriminalizeLGBT
