Christof Wittig, CEO

Christof is President of the LGBT Foundation and CEO of Hornet Networks, which he co-founded Hornet in 2011 when he felt there was a need to give the gay community a better app.

Christof is a serial software entrepreneur and investor, a poor triathlete, and happily married for 20 years to his husband Juan. Born in Germany, he now lives in San Francisco and frequently travels around the globe.

Alim Dhanji

Alim is Chief Operating Officer at Hornet. He provides leadership to the product management, engineering, architecture, growth, revenue, analytics, community & support teams to deliver the best experience for Hornet users. Alim has over 20 years experience in tech and financial markets and resides in Toronto with his husband, Kevin and kids, Ava and Noah.

Matthew Smith

Matthew is the SVP of Global Sales at Hornet, pioneering the future of advertising for a 100% male market with head-of-class brands that support and serve the LGBTQI community.

Coming to Hornet from Dr. Oz, Matthew has led teams at Men’s Health, Wired and Fast Company and began his career at OUT. He is a trained musician and is based in New York.

Sean Howell, President

Sean, President & CEO of the LGBT Foundation, co-founded Hornet to head up marketing and sales. He ran the company as CEO from 2013 - 16 and is now also its President and a Director.

Sean is a LGBTQI community advocate and has worked on many initiatives to make this world a better place. He lives in San Francisco.

Stephan Horbelt

Stephan is the Executive Editor at Hornet. He is our strong voice in the community, and makes sure that we know about stories of interest to gay men.

Stephan comes to Hornet from Frontiers Media, where he spent four years as editor in chief. He is based in Los Angeles.
