We Love These 7 Gay Celebrities Almost as Much as We Love Their Adorable Pets
Celebrities — they’re just like us. And like us, they love their pets. And some of our favorite celebrities aren’t shy about giving their pets a little screen time on social media. So we’ve decided to round up some of our favorite gay celebrity pets — hunky guys who are even hunkier when they’re showing love to a furry friend or two.
Our Favorite Gay Celebrity Pets, in no particular order:
1. Kevin McHale’s dog Sophie and cat James
Kevin McHale recently came out as gay (and, uh, buff AF), but we’ve always known he’s an animal lover. Here he is pictured with his dog Sophie, though he’s also got a Siamese cat named James.
2. Andy Cohen’s dog Wacha
If you’re a fan of Andy Cohen, you’re likely also a fan of Wacha, his sweet pup. And if you can’t get enough of Wacha on Andy’s own Instagram feed, Wacha has got his own, full of pictures (mostly without his owner). Though, if the below picture is any indication, Wacha might just have a side piece, and we’re not mad about it:
3. Russell Tovey’s dog Rocky
Though we’ve given Russell Tovey a fair amount of crap in the past for comments that reeked of toxic masculinity, you’ll never find us talking smack about Rocky, his adorable pup. After all, what shade could we throw at someone who can rock a sweater this well:
4. Karl Lagerfeld’s cat Chopette
Karl Lagerfeld may be a fat-shaming jerk, but he thinks Chopette, his red-point Birman cat, is the exact right amount of fluffy. Lagerfeld has said, “I never thought that I would fall in love like this with a cat.” And with a cat as beautiful as Chopette, yeah, we get it.
5. Zachary Quinto’s dog Rocco
Star Trek star Zachary Quinto loves dogs. Above he’s pictured with his beloved dog Noah, who passed away last year. But Quinto and his boyfriend Miles McMillan also have a beautiful black dog named Rocco.
6. Matt Bomer’s dogs Stella and Lucky
Matt Bomer is a big-time dog lover. Last year he got a brand new puppy, Stella, though he also has a sweet older dog, Lucky.
7. Lee Pace’s dogs Carl and Pete
This year, Lee Pace came out as a member of the queer community, though he was initially hesitant to do so. But he’s always been rather open about his love of animals, be they dogs, cats or pandas.
