Your stories, your courage, and your unwavering commitment to authenticity are what make Hornet the special place it is today.
For me, Pride Month is more than just a time of celebration, it’s a deeply personal journey of self-discovery and acceptance. As a gay man, I understand firsthand the challenges and triumphs that come with embracing one’s true self. It’s a journey that has shaped my perspective, my values, and my sense of purpose.
At Hornet, our mission has always been to create a world where every individual feels safe, supported, and celebrated for who they are. This mission is deeply personal to me, as I know the importance of finding a community where you can truly belong. That’s why I’m incredibly proud to lead a team that shares in this vision of inclusivity and acceptance.
This Pride Month holds special significance for all of us at Hornet, as we celebrate not only our progress but also our victories so far in 2024. I’m thrilled to reflect on Hornet recently winning a historic court case at the Turkish Constitutional Court and being able to relist the Hornet app within the Apple App Store. This win reaffirmed our freedom of expression and our commitment to fighting for LGBTQ+ rights around the world. This victory is a testament to the resilience and determination of our community, and I am honored to stand alongside each and every one of you who helped get this done.
As we come together to celebrate Pride Month 2024, let us not only honor our past and celebrate our victories but also recommit ourselves to the ongoing fight for equality and justice globally. Let us raise our voices, stand in solidarity with one another, and continue to advocate for a world where love knows no boundaries.
