Openly gay TV creator Ryan Murphy’s American Crime Story: The Assassination of Gianni Versace takes a glimpse into the days before and after the July 1997 Florida murder of the world-renowned Italian fashion designer. It also provides a glimpse of celebrities Ricky Martin nude and Darren Criss nude (well, mostly nude, in Criss’ case). Let’s take a peek, shall we?
The nakedest male actors among the cast include former Glee-star Darren Criss playing Versace’s murderer, Andrew Cunanan, and Ricky Martin playing Versace’s longtime boyfriend, Antonio D’Amico.
The real-life Cunanan had a deadly habit of seducing older, wealthy men and then killing them, so it makes sense the show would depict him flaunting his sexy bod as a deadly thirst trap. If you can stomach the idea of eroticizing a real-world murderer, then Criss’ portrayal is for you.
Here is Darren Criss nude (well, mostly) in American Crime Story:
As we’ve written before, Andrew Cunanan’s real-world cross-country killing spree had all the elements of a gripping thriller: sex, money, power, secrets and murder. And it ended with so many unanswered questions when Cunanan killed himself on a houseboat just three miles away from where he killed the fashion icon.
The media quickly jumped on all the scintillating details of Cunanan’s sex work, pornographic tastes and his fantastical adventures that may or may not have been accurate.
Most people know considerably less about Antonio D’Amico, the Italian model and fashion designer who was Versace’s long-term boyfriend for 15 years until his death.
Though he reportedly still receives a pension and a restricted right to dwell on Versace’s properties, D’Amico disappeared from the public in the decades following his boyfriend’s death.
Here’s Ricky Martin nude in American Crime Story:
Of his boyfriend’s famous murder, D’Amico has said, “There has been so much written and said about the murder, and thousands of suppositions, but not a trace of reality.”
