Chippendales, the beloved all-male revue that draws libidinous men and women to Las Vegas, has a history of securing some pretty amazing celebrity hosts to help the show draw a crowd. And now that we know the next Chippendales celebrity host will be Jersey Shore star Vinny Guadagnino, we’re ready to book a weekend in Sin City.
Vinny was always the strong, silent type on the MTV series Jersey Shore, which ran from 2009–2012 and was rebooted just last year with Jersey Shore Family Vacation. Unlike the other guys and girls he shared camera time with, Vinny seemed to have his life together. Sure, he indulged in some ‘GTL,’ but seeing him sloppy drunk and stumbling during the show’s several seasons was a rarity.
Now the Jersey Shore star will join the ranks of hunks like male supermodel Tyson Beckford, 90210 star Ian Ziering and deaf model-activist Nyle DiMarco, all of whom have at one time played the role of Chippendales celebrity host.
The show, most known for its dancers sporting white collars and black bowties, takes place nightly at the Rio Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas (with two shows on Friday and Saturday nights). In addition to that regular Vegas gig, there’s also a touring show called “Let’s Misbehave” (not featuring the Jersey Shore star) that will be touring North America and Europe through May. (Head here for more info.)
Starting April 26, Vinny will host the Vegas show for five weeks.
The Jersey Shore star was written about in December 2018 after he lost 50 pounds on the Keto Diet, a high-fat, low-carb eating plan that promotes fat-burning. He’s called the diet “the fountain of youth,” and using the hashtag #KetoGuido he’s documented all of his progress on Instagram.
“I guess my ‘Keto Guido’ diet is working!” he said in response to securing the gig as the next Chippendales celebrity host.
Will you be heading to Las Vegas to see the new Chippendales celebrity host, Jersey Shore star Vinny Guadagnino?
