Our 5 Current Obsessions: A Madonna Tee We Can’t Live Without, Peppermint Briefs
The uber-hip streetwear brand Supreme just dropped a Madonna tee we can’t live without. And a new peppermint-fiber underwear startup promises to finally rid your junk of funk and moisture. And what better way to immortalize these new fun fashions than with a selfie taken in a truly innovative way. This is our round-up of the week’s current obsessions.
1. The Supreme Madonna tee
Streetwear company Supreme sure knows how to stir up a shopping frenzy. This week the company surprised us with new merchandise. Though there’s a lot to choose from, our favorite piece is easily this Madonna tee honoring the singer’s 60th birthday this week. Available online starting Aug. 20. Price upon request, supremenewyork.com
2. Mini-drone phone case
Ever wanted to take a hands-free selfie? Now you can, because this new phone case features built-in mini-drone technology. Just fly your phone to the perfect distance (or height) and let it take a snap. Sadly, it doesn’t appear to be available for purchase just yet, but we’re obsessed nonetheless. That said, we did find this video that shows how it was made, so get your geekiest friend and see if you can make your own.
3. Converse x Hello Kitty Chuck Taylor
This collaboration is super kawaii. Converse works a lot with different designers but a partnership with Sanrio’s Hello Kitty — that’s just heavenly. Adorned with Hello Kitty and her friends, this traditional Converse hightop features custom “Say Hello to me when you see me” text along the side of the outsole. $70, zumiez.com
4. Peppermint underwear
Tired of getting hot and sticky down there? Jumper Threads, a start-up company, is introducing a new type of underwear made from antimicrobial peppermint fiber. Yes, peppermint underwear is here to save the day. The super soft and moisture-transferring fabric keeps you fresh, and the fabric stretches for ultimate comfort. 3-packs starting at $39, Kickstarter
5. Bottomless bubbles
Now you can have bottomless brunch every day. With this bottomless bubbles device you can turn most regular wine bottles into a glass. It’s a wine connoisseur’s (or binge drinker’s) dream come true. $15, firebox.com
