xHamster Is Hosting a Weekend-Long Fundraiser for Sex Worker Charities, and They Want You!
Finally, weekends are fun again. Well, next weekend will be, at least. From Friday, June 26 to Sunday, June 28, the porn tube site xHamster is hosting a three-day Pride fundraiser specifically for trans and sex worker charities, and you’re invited to participate!

xHamster is inviting “activists, artists, sex workers and LGBTQ+ content creators” to broadcast to the porn tube site’s millions of users worldwide. The slots will be 15-30 minutes each and promoted on xHamster’s social media channels, as well as featured on xHamsterLive and xHamster’s Pride partner, Stripchat. It’s an incredible opportunity for content creators to amplify their messages and raise awareness for the causes they support. “Whether it’s a live cam or a DJ set, all we ask is that you find a way to make it Pride-themed,” says the Pride fundraiser’s press release.
Additionally, donations from xHamster and money raised through the Pride fundraiser will be transferred to three incredible organizations: the Sylvia Rivera Law Project, which “works to guarantee that all people are free to self-determine their gender identity and expression”; the Sex Workers Outreach Project, which is “dedicated to the fundamental human rights of people involved in the sex trade and their communities”; and Rainbow Road, which helps persecuted LGBTQ+ folk travel to safety.
Highlighting these groups is a great reminder that Pride is not just about celebration, but about LGBTQ activism and support as well.
Vice President of xHamsterLive, Alex Hawkins, says, “Sex workers — particularly trans and gender-nonconforming sex workers of color — were on the frontlines at Stonewall. This year, 50 years after those first Liberation Day Marches, it’s time again to bring them at the front!”
