Prepare to Gag on All the Sickening Runway Looks From the First Episode of ‘Drag Race Thailand’

During our exclusive interview with Drag Race Thailand host Art Arya, she mentioned that this week was the premiere of the Thai version of RuPaul’s Drag Race featuring her, co-host Pangina Heals and 10 fierce queens competing for the crown. The first episode recently aired and, because the show is only available on World of Wonder’s streaming service WOW Presents Plus, a fan made a video supercut of all the Drag Race Thailand first episode’s runway looks (set to RuPaul’s horribly repetitive 2011 song “Sexy Drag Queen”).

The runway challenge for the first episode of Drag Race Thailand was three-in-one runway looks. Basically, each queen had to come out and do two dramatic reveals, showcasing their ability to hide three versatile, transformative looks into a single walk.

If you watch the video below, you’ll fall in love with the queens and find yourself wishing for a three-in-one challenge on the upcoming season of RuPaul’s Drag Race.

Here’s a video of the Drag Race Thailand first episode runway looks:

Referring to the queens, Arya told us, “I love all of them … because the queens are so good at what they did, but they’re not coming out to kill each other. They come just to be their best. I don’t know how to explain it, maybe I’m not explaining, but vulnerable I think is the right word.”

During our exclusive interview with Heals, she said that judging the queens was much harder than she expected.

“You have no idea what it’s like to sit there and judge people fighting for their future and fighting for their hopes and their dreams and basically fighting for survival,” she said. “It’s so impactful, and I didn’t expect that. The first week I was, like, mid-crying, but I didn’t show any emotion because it was so hard to digest.”
