These Are the 10 New Pieces of Spring 2019 Menswear We’re Currently Lusting After

From London to Milan, Spring 2019 menswear presentations have been rocking the runway, recently ending in Paris with a super colorful Kenzo collection. Designers showed us their unique points of view through lavish fashion shows and presented new ideas on how to dress like a modern man.

Streetwear continues to be an overall theme no matter the city, with new trends like dad jeans, flowing blousons and tie-dye prints popping up in many of the different Spring 2019 menswear collections.

Navigating through more than 100 collections was a daunting task, but we did it. Here are the new spring pieces we’re currently lusting after. If you’re contemplating an update to your wardrobe — and have the funds — we’ve done half the hard work for you. If you’re running low on paper, you’d still be wise to study these items for insight into what’ll be on-trend next year.

1. This flowing blouson from Ann Demeulemeester

Sébastien Meunier’s work on Ann Demeulemeester’s Spring 2019 Menswear collection is dreamy. The pastel blouson above is soft and romantic and so unlike the somber Demeulemeester from past collections.

2. This Louis Vuitton keepall bag

Virgil Abloh injected some serious fresh air to power fashion house Louis Vuitton with this first menswear collection. True to Abloh’s sportswear vision, this new collection — including the above iridescent Keepall bag — looks modern and wearable.

3. These Dior sneakers

Kim Jones, previously the menswear designer for Louis Vuitton, unveiled his first collection for Dior, and it was perfection. We’re lusting over this high-top sneaker plastered with the Dior logo, and it’s now one of our must-haves for next year.

4. These geometric short-shorts from Prada

The OG of geeky chic, Miuccia Prada gave us something unexpected in her Spring 2019 menswear collection: sexy short shorts. A geek has never looked as hot as when he’s sporting the male version of Daisy Dukes.

5. These ‘Dad Jeans’ from Versace

They’re ‘Dad Jeans’ but not your father’s jeans. Donatella Versace updates the ultimate American fashion staple with a new (for Versace) relaxed fit.

6. The Hermés HAC bag

If you need only one bag next year (or for the rest of your life), this gorgeous Hermés HAC is the one.

7. This Alexander McQueen leather coat

Leather has become a fashion staple even for spring, and this leather ensemble from Alexander McQueen oozes masculinity (the non-toxic kind, thankyouverymuch). The jacket is basically high fashion meets Folsom Street Fair.

8. All the knitwear from Balmain

A lightweight cardigan is the perfect layering piece all year around. This knitwear from Balmain screams “collegiate” and is the ideal transition piece from spring into summer.

9. The Crossbody Bag from Junya Watanabe

The “Crossbody Bag” continues to be an “it” accessory in menswear. This version from Junya Watanabe looks like a half-vest but comes with all the functionality.

10. This tie-dye sweater from Amiri

Tie-dye is making a quiet comeback according to the new Spring 2019 menswear collections. This gorgeous piece from Amiri gives a laidback vibe via a bold and groovy print. We’re smitten.
