We automatically set you to show offline after a period of time when you have been inactive. If you want to go offline straight away, follow the instructions:

On Android:
  • Open Hornet and go to your profile section
  • Go to "Settings" (the cog icon in the upper-right corner)
  • Tap “Account”
  • Tap the icon “” in the upper-right corner
  • Tap “Sign Out”
  • Confirm

For Premium members, there is another option. You can activate the "Invisible" mode manually inside the app; this takes you off the grid completely and hides the green dot on your profile, but you can keep using the app as normal.

To use it, follow these steps:

  • Open Hornet and go to your profile section
  • Go to "Settings" (the cog icon in the upper-right corner)
  • Tap “Privacy”
  • Set the “Invisible” feature to ON
On iOS:
  • Open Hornet and go to your profile section
  • Go to "Settings" (the cog icon in the upper-right corner)
  • Tap “Account”
  • Tap “Sign out”
  • Confirm

  • On the Home Screen, click on your name/profile picture in the upper-right corner of the screen
  • Tap on “Toggle Invisible Mode on ”

If you cannot find a solution in our FAQ, please write to us at feedback@hornet.com. It is important that you include your Account ID in the email, so that we can trace your account. Your Account ID is on your profile and begins with the ‘@’ symbol.
