The 2018 Comic-Con International in San Diego just wrapped up this weekend, leaving us with a handful of LGBTQ moments and some great instances of quality Comic-Con cosplay. Let’s relive some of the highlights below.
Among the great queer moments from Comic-Con 2018: Deadpool actor Ryan Reynolds said he was interested in the films exploring the character’s pansexual side a little more, the creators of the CW show Supergirl announced a trans superhero played by a trans actress for Season 4, a creator of Netflix’s Voltron reboot revealed that one of the male characters is gay, the trailer for the upcoming Titans series showed that Robin is tired of being Batman’s sidekick and gay Star Trek alum George Takei unveiled his new graphic memoir about his childhood in a U.S. Japanese internment camp.
There was also Luke Skywalker actor Mark Hamill who dressed up as “Darth Donald” and walked around incognito (image below), gay Arrow actor Colton Haynes admitted that he wanted to have a water balloon fight with Aquaman actor Jason Momoa and a toy retailer unveiled some Golden Girls action figures.
