Asia O’Hara Hints One of the Queens From ‘Drag Race’ Season 10 Voted for Trump

UPDATE: Asia O’Hara has since said there is no “drag queen for Trump.” She took to Instagram Stories late last night to post the following:

It’s Thursday, which means an episode of RuPaul’s Drag Race aired tonight, but the moment that had us plucked beyond belief wasn’t something from Episode 3. Instead, our collective mouth is agape in response to an Instagram story by Season 10 contestant Asia O’Hara. Apparently one of her fellow contestants voted for Donald Trump. A drag queen for Trump? How is that even possible? you might ask.

O’Hara’s post on Instagram said so much in so few words. It read: “Wondering if I should release which Season X queen voted for Trump …”

Thus far we haven’t seen any of O’Hara’s fellow Season 10 queens speak up about the queen who voted orange, but it’s likely we’ll get to the bottom of this soon enough. For all we know, the “admission” could have been caught on camera, which means it could end up in a future episode. It’s also possible the “admission” from this drag queen for Trump was made in confidence.

Either way, here’s guessing that most of the LGBTQ community — and RuPaul’s Drag Race fans in particular — are gonna be none too happy with this nugget of knowledge. It’s something that could very well ruin the queen’s career before it truly takes off.

Elaine Lancaster

Whoever the Season 10 drag queen for Trump may be, she won’t be the first (or only) queen who voted orange. Last July we ran an interview with Elaine Lancaster, the Miami-based queen who has been completely open about voting for Trump. She even appeared on CNN to voice support for him.

That Trump support hasn’t turned out so well for Lancaster, who way back in July claimed she’d been fired from emceeing Pride and had a liquor endorsement rescinded.

Is a similar fate in store for this Season 10 drag queen for Trump? Only time will tell.

Who do you think is this alleged drag queen for Trump? Sound off in the comments.
