Men’s New York Fashion Week finished the Fall/Winter 2018 presentation with a bang.  A couple of well-known fashion houses showed their first men’s collection alongside veterans and newcomers this season. From formalwear to streetwear, designers showed us what guys will be wearing later this year.

Tom Ford Fall/Winter 2018

There are also several standout moments from NYFW. Tom Ford unveiled his luxe underwear collection during the finale of his first men’s show in New York City. Bottega Veneta, the famed Italian house, also showed for the first time in NYC with a youthful and colorful collection.

Oversized outerwear. Fitted trousers. New denim. Vibrant colors. We spotted several cool trends — here are our favorite moments from this season’s Men’s New York Fashion Week.

5 Most Memorable Moments from Men’s New York Fashion Week:

1. Raf Simons

LSD. GHB. Raf Simons is the only designer can incorporate drug culture into his latest collection. Based on the German film about heroin addiction, Christiane F, the theme might be dark, but the collection is vibrant.

2. Bottega Veneta

Tomas Maier, the mastermind behind Bottega Veneta, brought the Italian luxury label to NYC. He presented a youthful collection rich in prints and textures. Famous for its basketweave look adorning accessories, Bottega Veneta also gave us sportswear that’s equally luxurious and functional.

3. Abasi Rosborough

Take away the applied bits and slab makeup and you can see the softness in Abasi Rosborough’s collection. From the kimono-inspired pieces to structured outerwear, this collection was fluid and wearable from the beginning to the end.

4. Gypsy Sport

You probably won’t see many of Gypsy Sport’s buoyant clothes on the streets. However, this didn’t stop Rio Uribe, the genius behind the label, from sending out DIY-inspired clothes that are eco-friendly. It was also the most inclusive show from NYFW. Uribe had a cast of diverse models of all body shapes, including our favorite drag sensation Desmond Napoles, sashay down the runway.

5. Tom Ford

Tom Ford showed his eponymous men’s line for the first time during NYFW, and he did not disappoint his star-studded fans. Sleek animal-print sports jackets and ultra-chic sportswear; Ford is the king of menswear and he’s in no danger of losing his crown. He also revealed his long-awaited underwear collection here. From skintone briefs to metallic boxer shorts, Ford is bringing sexy back.
